AmpIn Energy Transition announced on Friday, November 25, its plans to invest INR 3,100 Crore in several states including Bihar, Odisha, and Jharkhand. The company will direct these investments towards the development of renewable energy projects of about 600 MW and the establishment of a 1.3 GW integrated manufacturing facility for solar cells and modules.

The company is planning substantial investments in West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, and the Northeastern states. In the Eastern region, it currently holds the largest solar open access portfolio of 200 MWp and has secured the largest utility Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with CESC for a 250 MWp wind-solar hybrid project.
Pinaki Bhattacharyya, MD, and CEO of AmpIn Energy Transition, stated that their investment in the region signifies a noteworthy milestone in their mission to propel the transition to renewables in the area. The establishment of the integrated solar cell and module manufacturing capacity in the region will bolster the momentum towards renewables.
